The MOP abalone dots were also gone from the fretboard and the silver-foiled spaghetti logo of the '50s has been replaced by the infamous CBS-era decals. The Jazz necks are now bound with rectangular block-inlaid fingerboards like their '70s ancestors. I hoped Fender keeping the 22-fret neck and the downsized body of the older models and reduce the bridge pickup slot to accommodate the N3 stacked Jazz Bass pickup. Same thing for the Jazz Bass also. Bad luck. The new American Deluxe basses are not enough good in my taste as I'd expected. Fender should bring back the better-looking features of the older US Deluxe models and simply retooling them. A new American Deluxe bass guitar would have the essential key features: the same downsized body and pickguard shapes, the 22-fret design, the silver foil '50s spaghetti logo and the abalone dots on the board. The only upgrades would be the HMV bridge, the Hipshot vintage lightweight tuners, the N3 stacked Jazz bridge pickup (on the Precision) with the active/passive switch and the compound radiused necks with the glossy fretboards. Sur fender c'est quasiment la plus belle finitions a mon gout Ceci dit j'attend de voir la finition en black, avec la touche maple ... :wub: Bon, c'est sur Thomann pour 1590 euros pour certaine finitions ( Naturel/ 3TS / wine transparent ) et 1499 euros pour la Black et la OW. Ouais, j'ai beaucoup craché sur Fender mais j'ai aussi eu une Jazz Bass American Deluxe pendant un temps, et c'etait une basse très agreable à jouer mais un peu decevante niveau son. Rien de neuf esthétiquement, mais bon, c'est déjà beau comme ça Je maintiens que je regrette la disparition du Double-J sur les PB Dlx Crimble > Je sais bien que je vais devoir me faire une raison Surtout que Troy Sanders est endorsé (ou un truc du genre) par Goldlyke, alors bon... Mais ça donnerait un bon coup de frais chez Fender. Surtout vu la côté de popularité de Mastodon auprès du public et des médias spécialisés (et même à l'Assemblée Nationale grâce à Hadopi ).
