"I wish", de Stevie Wonder, possède un gimmick de 2 mesures qui tourne comme un ostinato pendant une bonne partie du morceau. "Bad to the bone", de George Thorogood, me parait correspondre à la définition. "La fille du Père Noël", de Jacques Dutronc, est aussi un bon exemple. Si on simplifie à l'extrême la basse de "Hey Joe", de Jimi Hendrix, on arrive à un ostinato de 4 mesures. "With or without you", de U2, est pas mal dans le genre, aussi !
