A la base c'est un grand groupe de soul des années 70 qui a viré au funk dans les années 80. Le bassiste sur leurs plus gros tubes, c'est Leon Sylvers (ex-The Sylvers, membre de Dynasty et producteur de Shalamar, entre autres...)
