tumbaobab Posted October 12, 2018 at 07:53 PM Author Posted October 12, 2018 at 07:53 PM Y'en a qui donnent des élements de réponse : YoutanPoluoil y a 3 ans That tone on that bass!!!!! OMFG Sophia Bogardil y a 2 ans +YoutanPoluo IF I understand he runs it through an up tuner on one channel into a guitar amp and a clean bass through another with a multi switch into a bass amp. So he gets both at the same time and can switch between the two if he wishes. It is truly a unique style. TheKille22il y a 1 an You can take a guitar amp with a good bottom end for a dirty sound and a good bass amp for cleans and a switch/blend between the two. Take that and combine it with some fuzz and overdrive pedals for this distorted sound. Throw in an octaver, synth or envelope filter (or wah if you want more controll) for some extra fills and put it under controll with an EQ pedal and you are ready to go. Joe Flairil y a 5 mois Almost... He runs into a Harmonizer, then a tuner.. then into a pedal that splits his signal into 3 channels... one stays a solid bass tone.. the other two go through an array of effects to create two other guitar tones.. at least in his original setup.. it's a lot different now... Rokas Mikalauskasil y a 5 mois Could you provide more information? Is it just a bass splitted into 3 channels, and all of them have different effects? Joe Flairil y a 5 mois R H Go check out my most recent video. It's of the song Figure it out. You can hear where I pop different channels on and off. But yes. He uses the Triage pedal to split his signal then sends them through different effects and to multiple amplifiers Rokas Mikalauskasil y a 5 mois Wouldn't it be better to use guitar, and split it to different channels? As it gives more versatility? Thanks for info Joe Flairil y a 5 mois I don't think so... Despite the POG2's polyphonic nature, it's still easier to make it read one note at a time, and process. So, in essence, you could be playing one note on the bass, and through processing actually hearing full Chords. It's always easier to take something simple and make it more complex, than to take something complex and make it even more complex... The man is a genius with his design.. the sound speaks for itself. Using the cheap short scale basses is also brilliant, because of their mid-toney sound, they are playing tones at the peak frequencies for the octave pedals to process. I've set up a similar rig for covering some of their songs, then also took an electric guitar and ran it through the same setup, trying to play full chords, and it just sounded like mud Quote
custom90 Posted October 13, 2018 at 04:56 AM Posted October 13, 2018 at 04:56 AM Y a pas mal de videos avec differentes config niveau pedales , du plus simple au plus complexe... Quote
Quote
tumbaobab Posted October 13, 2018 at 02:40 PM Author Posted October 13, 2018 at 02:40 PM Merci ! Quote
