Rickenbacker 4001: Une Masse Sous La Touche?

Bonjour à tous et un souvenir ému au forum.

Ma Rick rachetée il y a des années avec une touche soulevée par des truss-rods serrés à mort est enfin entre les mains du luthier qui a déposé ladite touche pour récupérer l'ensemble.

Et là, surprise, il y a sous la touche, intégrée, un carré de métal ou de résine époxy chargé de métal.... stupéfaction du luthier.

Quelqu'un sait ce que c'est que ce truc, si c'est d'origine (ce qui serait étonnant vu comment c'est fait), ou le but que ça peut poursuivre?

Wow, merci.

Je m'étais dit ça aussi.... mais c'est difficilement croyable. Surtout que la défonce est bien crado et bourrée de colle... ça fait peu pro, quoi.
